8. How do I system install the Connective browser package for Safari v12 (macOS)
These instructions only apply if the users of the Connective browser package will be using Safari v12 (or higher) on macOS.
Attention: you need administrator rights to system install the browser package.
8.1 Install the Connective Plugin
Download the plugin
Note: if you received the Connective plugin as a .zip file, in case of a beta release for instance, skip this step and go to Install the plugin below.
- Go to https://plugin.connective.eu/#plugin-overview.
- Select the Operating System: Mac.
- Select Nmh as installation method. This downloads the installer for Safari v12 (or higher).
Install the plugin
If you downloaded the Connective plugin:
- Go to the location where you downloaded the .zip file. Typically, this is the Downloads folder.
- Double-click the .zip file to unzip it.
- Then double-click the unzipped connective-plugin-installer-2.0.x.pkg file.
- Drag the Connective Plugin to the Applications folder in the pop-up window. The Connective browser package for Safari 12 is now installed.
If you received the Connective plugin as .pkg file:
- Double-click the .zip file you received from Connective to unzip it.
- Then double-click the unzipped connective-plugin-installer-2.0.x.pkg file.
- Drag the Connective Plugin to the Applications folder in the pop-up window. The Connective browser package for Safari 12 is now installed.
