SCT 1.0 - Release Notes
1. New features
The Service Configuration Tool, or SCT in short, is an external user management tool. It allows administrators to create users and assign them to groups.
Once users and groups have been created in the SCT, they must be mapped to the users and groups in your Connective solutions. In this first stage of our SSO setup, “Connective solutions” comes down to eSignatures 6.0.
When the mapping is successful, users will only need to enter their credentials once when logging in to an eSignatures component. When they try to access another component afterwards, such as the eSignatures WebPortal, the Config Index, the Branding settings, they are logged in automatically (provided they are part of a group that has the permissions to access that particular component).
In more advanced setups, you can also use the OpenID Connect Identity Provider you already have in place to link your existing users and groups to your Connective solutions. That way, your existing users can use their current credentials to log in. For more information about such a setup, contact Connective at service@connective.eu.
